Catherine heads up the copyright protection team for H&B Administration LLP, assisting in the protecting of intellectual property on behalf of its members. Catherine is passionate about the fight against illegal downloads and protecting the future of the media and technology industries.

Catherine is a qualified solicitor with a legal background in insurance fraud investigation and defence. Before joining the team at Hatton & Berkeley in 2019, she spent a number of years at Tier 1 law firms before moving out of private practice.

Catherine has two BA Honours degrees, one in French and Japanese, the other in Law. After graduating from university in 2002 Catherine worked as a legal secretary at a large UK firm and progressed through the ranks of legal secretary, to paralegal, trainee and then qualified as a solicitor in 2011.

Catherine’s home life is lots of fun with two small children at home; two girls, and a husband who is both a carpenter and professional photographer.

In her spare time Catherine practices yoga, and is an avid swimmer. She also has a keen interest in nutrition and wellness, and is currently studying nutrition to better understand the role that food plays in our overall health.
